"Documentary photography is not just about capturing moments, but about telling the untold stories of life, where every frame holds a truth waiting to be discovered."
Covid Horror in Delhi
During the devastating second wave of COVID-19 in 2021, Delhi became a ground zero for the pandemic's most harrowing moments. The capital city, already strained under the pressure of an overwhelming surge, saw hospitals overflowing, oxygen shortages, and a deeply anxious public fighting against an invisible enemy. Through my lens, I sought to capture the raw, unfiltered emotion of this crisis—anxiety, despair, exhaustion, and the unwavering spirit of resilience.

Protests Against CAA & NRC
In 2019, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) sparked nationwide protests, and Delhi became a focal point for fierce demonstrations, where people of all ages and backgrounds rallied against the bills.

Farmers' Protest
In 2021, farmers from across India converged at the borders of Delhi, protesting against the controversial farm laws that they believed threatened their livelihoods and the very fabric of rural India. These protests evolved into one of the largest and most enduring movements in the country's history, where farmers, their families, and allies stood in defiance of government policies, demanding justice, equity, and the protection of their rights.
Through my lens, I followed the relentless determination and unwavering solidarity of these farmers, documenting their journey from the freezing streets of Delhi to the more recent protests at Shambhu Border in 2024. These images capture not just the hardships of the protests—the long nights, harsh weather, and fierce battles with authorities—but also the resilience, hope, and sense of community that defined this fight.

The Ghost of the Himalayas
Over the past five years, I have ventured deep into the rugged terrains of the Indian Himalayas, a place known as "the roof of the world," to document the world of one of nature's most elusive and enigmatic creatures—the snow leopard. Also known as the "ghost cat," the snow leopard has long been a symbol of mystery, resilience, and the delicate balance of the high-altitude ecosystem. Through my lens, I sought to capture not just the rare beauty and elusive nature of this majestic predator, but also the intricate relationship between these big cats and the communities that call this harsh landscape home.

Anti-Caste Movements
This body of work includes the poignant protests led by Dalit activists, including the powerful marches and demonstrations inspired by Ambedkar’s vision of social justice, as well as protests specifically focused on caste-based sexual violence. These protests are not only acts of defiance against injustice, but powerful calls for equality, dignity, and an end to gendered violence rooted in caste discrimination.

A Festival Of Arts
The Serendipity Arts Festival, held annually in the vibrant city of Panaji, Goa, brings together a unique blend of art forms—ranging from visual arts and music to dance, theater, and culinary experiences. Over the years, I have had the privilege of documenting this multi-disciplinary celebration of creativity, where local, national, and international artists converge to engage with diverse audiences.
